Oil on canvas, 46 x 60, signed in the bottom right with A. Kuijpers, painted circa 1935, in precious Flippo (Katwijk) frame from the 1980s/90s. Adrianus Kuijpers 1862 - 1945 Student of the Quellinusschool in Amsterdam and of his father Jan Kuijpers. He was a landscape painter just like his brother Cornelis Kuijpers. Both painted in the style of the Hague school. He mainly worked in the surroundings of Gorinchem, Amsterdam and in Noord-Brabant. Painted predominantly summery meadow and polder landscapes. He was a member of Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. The origin of the painting: Art dealership Jan v. d. Elshout, The Hague. The painting and frame are in excellent condition and also: Ready to hang.
