Krabbé and F. Th. Grabijn, among others. He painted still lifes, some cityscapes and landscapes, and in particular dune landscapes, for which he gained inspiration in Haarlem and in the surroundings of The Hague and Voorburg. His work is called realistically with an Impressionist slant. Museums: Frans Halsmuseum and Teylers Museum in Haarlem.
