Le cellier des Dauphins is a brand of wine from the Rhone valley , created in 1967 by a union of cooperators , the Union des Vignerons des Cotes du Rhone. Le cellier des Dauphins owes its name to the geographical location of the first cellars belonging to the Union des vignerons des coasts du Rhone, located in Drome Provencale in the southernmost part of Dauphine. The brand initially brought together a union of cooperatives to which the cellars of Nyons , Saint-Maurice-sur-Eygues , Saint-Pantaleon-les-Vignes , Sainte-Cecile-les-Vignes , Serignan-du-Comtat , Suze-la -Rousse , Tulette and Vinsobres . The merger with the union of winegrowers from the Enclave des papes , where the cooperative cellars of Puymeras , Richerenches and Valreas created a major wine producer.
