Original vintage advertising poster for a production of Jolly Velia - Dans leurs scenes du champagne de la Jarretière / In their scenes of champagne from the Garter - Great artwork by Cândido Aragonez de Faria (1849-1911) features a lady wearing a large pink and white dress with a feathered hat sitting on a table with an empty bottle of champagne laying on its side. Next to her os a man in a black suit and a top hat holding a second bottle with one hand and raising a glass with the other. Cândido Aragonez de Faria was a Brazilian caricaturist, painter, lithographer and poster designer who emigrated to France in 1882. Printed in Paris. Large size.
