Original vintage food advertising poster for the Mac Fisheries - Such Game! Great photomontage by the notable graphic designer Zero (Hans Schleger; 1898-1976) featuring a black and white image of a pheasant against a brown and green countryside background, the colourful text above and below with the Mac Fisheries logo in white. Mac Fisheries (1918-1979) was founded by William Hesketh Lever (1st Viscount Leverhulme; 1851-1925) of Unilever Brothers with his brother James Darcy Lever (1854-1916), incorporated into Lever Brothers Ltd in 1922 and later becoming part of Unilever (founded in 1930 as a merger between the Dutch producer Margarine Unie and the Lever Brothers). Hans Schleger pioneered the concept of corporate identity and worked on the brands and logos for John Lewis, Penguin Press and others; his work remains highly influential for designers.
