Signed by Fosettee, Gibson, and Badger. Affidavit of Sergeant Alfred Fosettee, Sergeant of Co. A, 6th Infantry, who was overseer of the corral. He describes a runaway black horse and the unsuccessful 2-day search that ensued. The testimony was sworn before F.M. Gibson, 1st Lieutenant of Cavalry and William Badger, 1st Lieutenant 6th Infantry. Gibson was an officer in the 7th Cavalry who rode to the rescue but arrived too late at the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
Condition Report: Ink fading somewhat, folds apparent, a few stains; unexamined out of frame.
