Affortunato Gory (1895-1925) was a French-Italian artist who specialized in figurative sculpture in the Art Deco style. Born in 1895 in Florence, Italy. He emigrated to France after his studies and exhibited several times at the Salon des Artistes Français. In his refined craftsmanship he combined materials such as bronze, ivory and marble with a dazzling effect. He died in 1925.
