African Bush Buck Antelope Head and Horns 1900's
This is part of a bush buck antelope’s head and horns from the Central African Republic. The bush buck is a small antelope that was hunted and used for meat. This bush buck was shot in the local village by the minister who was doing missionary work in the country, and if you turn the head over, you can see remnants of the upper skull. The whole piece is 15 inches long and 3 3/8 in. wide at the tips of the horns. From the Dale Baker collection.
