African Cote DIvoire Baule Mblo Gba Gba Portrait mask (19th Century), carved wood darkened, depicting refined woman's face having high arch coiffure with concentric circle patterns on both sides, central vertical line of scarification down center of forehead, raised half moon eyebrows, closed eyes looking downwards, cheek scarification, pursed open mouth and teeth showing.
