Balzac, étude de nu C, buste avec épaules et découpe arrondie de la poitrine (grand modèle), conceived in 1898, cast before 1950, inscribed with the signature "A. Rodin" and with the foundry mark "Alexis Rudier./ Fondeur. Paris.", stamped underside with the raised signature "A. Rodin", 11-1/2 x 11 x 7-1/2 in., mounted on square black marble base, 3-1/2 x 8 x 8 in.
