After Evgeny Aleksandrovich Lansere, (Russian 1848 - 1886), a matched pair of equestrian bronzes, Charging Lancer and Charging Cossack, late 19th century, both on naturalistically cast oval bases signed in Cyrillic, the latter inscribed for the Felix Chopin foundry of St Petersburg

The former 28cm high, 38cm long at the base, 42cm long overall; the latter 33cm high, 37cm long
