Bronze in a graduated light-brown patina mounted on a red marble plinth. Sitter depicted in motion, rotating clockwise with billowing Orientalist costume, and leaning right in contrapposto on a carpet draped platform holding an aulos. Minor pitting near base of platform; minor abrasion with loss in patina to lower back, left forearm, and right index finger and thumb; minor verdigris to recesses of costume and carpet; minor handling polish with loss in patina to rear folds in drape and platform.
