The girl carries a tray with a porcelain chocolate cup and a glass of water. Liotard's contemporaries classed The Chocolate Girl as his masterpiece. This image was later used by Walter Baker Chocolate Company for advertisements.
Condition: Canvas has been relined, craquelure of surface with concentration to lower portion, fluorescent under UV light, minor surface soils. Minor losses to frame.
