Cézanne's homage to Claude Monet's notorious 1865 painting, Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe (which was a a response to Edouard Manet's 1863-66 painting of the same name), shows Cezanne's ground-breaking ideas on perspective (a precursor to the invention of Cubism, much later).
