Conceived in wood in 1888 and cast in bronze in a numbered edition of 6 in 1959 by the Valsuani Foundry, Paris.
Condition Report:
Dark golden brown patina. An area of accretion 3 inches long, possibly from an adhesive, along the top of the bronze. Some light rubbing and wear around the bronze base. Some black accretions to the right of the numbering along the base. There is a nailhead sized chip to the bronze base below the numbering. The work is in good condition.
