Very impressive and large sculpture of a deer in patinated bronze on a marble base. The deer radiates pure masculinity with its giant antlers. The marble base was custom cut to fit the legs of the deer. Bears signature Mêne, after Pierre-Jules Mêne, first half of 20th century. Beautiful patina. Height: 63 cm. Weight: 19 kg. Bronze statue and marble base in very good condition. Lower black natural stone base in good condition with a small chip here and there.
