Titled "Molnet (The Cloud)," depicts a winding path over an expansive field with a large cloud looming in the sky. Prins Eugen, Duke of Narke, was an artist, collector, and patron of the arts. Born to Oskar II of Sweden and Sophia of Nassau, Eugen studied in Paris where decorative arts peaked his interest and where he first exhibited his artwork. He is best known for his rural landscapes of Sweden and for marine painting.
