A ritual agate rosary in contrasting shades of ivory white and dark brown. It features a spindle-shaped body with the traditional ‘Heaven and Earth with Eyes’ (天地带眼) decoration, which combines curvilinear and circular motifs flanked by annular bands at the ends. This design symbolises harmony between Heaven and Earth, balance, prosperity and protection. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later.
