Agate ‘Nine Eyes’ Dzi bead, Liao dynasty
An elongated Dzi bead, crafted from brown agate with a coffee-coloured hue. It is decorated with an iconographic pattern of nine eyes (Jiuyan Dzi) arranged in geometric bands of continuous creamy-white lines. The surface shows distinct patina of age, with visible signs of weathering. Liao Dynasty (916–1125 AD) or later.
