Agate and jade beaded bracelet, Liao and Hongshang dynasties
A ritual bracelet comprising fourteen spherical reddish agate beads with a naturally eroded texture, dominated by a prominent central cylindrical tube of archaic (Hongshan) jade, which is whitish in colour with brown and reddish streaks resulting from the patina. Hongshan Culture / Liao Dynasty (4700–2900 BC / 916–1125 AD) or later.
