A partial portrait in an appealingly incomplete state, presumed to be of the artist herself inside her Brooklyn home. Artist's estate stamp to the reverse of the canvas. Presented in a frame that measures 34" x 30".

Provenance: From a corporate collection in Liberty, MO, acquired from the Edward Wayne Gallery in Kansas City, MO.
Condition Report: The canvas has torn vertically along the outside edge of the right stretcher, from the top right corner down along the edge of much of the canvas. Because this tear is situated at the extreme right fore edge, it has not affected the image, and there are a number of possible solutions. The long tear has caused some buckling to the right side of the canvas in its present state. There is a very slight impact dimple in the top right quadrant that has not broken through the canvas.
