Agustina Bottoni - Colé Italia - Candle holder (2) - Contantin "Golden Bite"

Set of 2 candle holders in Canaletto walnut rhombus shaped and a brass ring to host a 22 mm candle. Hand-made decor in golden varnish! They are new, but they had a broken corner (1 in the upper corner; 1 in the bottom corner) . What to do? ! We decided to make them unique by an artistic intervention. A "golden bite", as if the wooden structure concealed a gold mine. We like the result. Wood and gold are synonyms of warmth and fortune. Now you have nice and useful objects with a story to tell. Constantin collection owes its name to its inspirer. It is in fact the modern art of Constantin Brancusi that has guided the designer’s hand to conceive candelabra, bookends, jewel box and centerpiece in wood, marble and brass. Taking up Brancusi ability to represent the essence of things with a high degree of abstraction, Agustina Bottoni has shaped the candlesticks and bookends thinking of the columns and bases of Brancusi famous sculptures. For the container and centerpiece she has been inspired instead by the works in which almost raw solid wood is contrasted with polished and mirrored metal.
