Akai - GX-230D - Tape Deck 18 cm
Very nice vintage Akai GX-230D tape recorder. It is a 4-head machine, because of the auto reverse function, the tape recorder has 2 playback heads for playback in both directions. It is a 3 motor direct drive. Direct drive which means no rubbers, belts or straps that might wear out. The Akai is very user friendly and requires relatively little maintenance for a tape deck (partly thanks to the indestructible magnetic brakes.) The Akai also has the indestructible GX heads. Including 2 X reels.
