Renee Fleming wore this dress for her performance for the US Supreme Court Justices in 2008. Property from the Collection of Renee Fleming, New York, New York, to benefit the Renee Fleming Foundation.
Purple silk satin dress and jacket. The strapless dress has a straight, floor-length skirt with deep pleats down each princess line of the front. Hidden within these pleats are pockets on each hip. The bodice is lightly boned and closes down the center back with a zip and a hook and eye. The short jacket is self-fabric lined and has a notched collar and long sleeves with slits at the hem. The jacket has no closures down the center front opening.

Condition: Condition: Overall very good condition with two snags in the satin over the back hip near the zip, a snag on the hem of the left sleeve, snags on the inner arm of the right sleeve and one snag on the right lapel.
