Provenance/Additional Info: Bearing the original interior label of J & H Meacham, No 104 State-street, Albany. This was the label used by the Meacham brothers from the company founding in 1813 until a label change in 1827. The drum appears to retain all of its original fitings. There are traces of the original decoration around the tack decorated breath hole. Accompanied by two early hand carved sticks. Recently picked from an attic in Northern Pa.
