There are a number of similar themed paintings that have sold by the artist achieving similar amounts at auction and sales to over $5,000 USD as research will prove. A similar theme ( but much smaller painting) with Gondola looking towards St Marks Square, Venice has more recently sold ( 2012) at D********m auction house in Austria for 5000 euros. We ship within three days of payment to the auctioneers however due to post-Brexit logistical issues and the pandemic there could potentially be delays in shipping that are beyond our control. Delays are usually with customs in the recipient country. We have no control over this once the painting has been shipped. Also please refer to the auctions terms with reference to paying customs and excise duties within the EU and other countries. You will be responsible for paying any taxes that are levied by the customs within your own country. We cannot determine what these will be as post-Brexit there appears to be inconsistency from country to country with regards to the amount being charged. We are legally obliged to attach three invoices on packaging and the declared value of the item for customs will match the price that you pay for the painting at auction. The customs charged will be determined by the customs in your own country and NOT by UK customs. Please note we have experienced significant delays with Italian customs at present. So please be aware that there may be significant delay in the painting being delivered once it has arrived in Italy. We will insure the painting for shipping.
