“It is as if you can hear the ice cracking. . . . . ”, “. . . . You can almost smell the cold. . . . . ” A rare beautiful work, large format (no less than 87 x 117 cm incl. monumental Flemish frame) by this very undervalued painter. The precision and lighting are truly unparalleled. Other than his ever precise style of painting in solid composition, this is a very atmospheric painting. One of the most exquisite examples of the truly beautiful skies that Mr. Temming mastered. As is usual for his works, one can, as it were, "discover many paintings in just one canvas". In an expensive frame which showcases the colours of the oil paint in a sublime way. In reality this work is many times more beautiful than in the photos. Albertus J. Temming was born on the 7th of September 1942 in Utrecht. He started painting at an early age. His paintings are displayed in government buildings and castles. His classic scenes are much loved abroad. He was connected to Artibus, the Art Academy of Utrecht and is mentioned in the ‘Jacobs Schilderslexicon’. Exhibitions: Kunstliefde Utrecht Rembrandt Utrecht, De Zwolsche Algemene Nieuwegein and De Kunstkliniek Hilversum 't Gooiland in Hilversum. > > > Note: because of the size, fragility and weight of this work, it cannot be shipped. It needs to be collected in Hilversum. In consultation, I can employ my son for €15 p/h (+ car transport costs) to deliver the painting within The Netherlands. Prospective buyers from abroad, are responsible for the arrangement of transport (delivery service) in consultation with seller.
