Outstanding, sharp and deep black early impression, before the vertical scratch in the left drapery. On the finest early paper, which, as always with the earliest prints of this sheet, has no watermark. Trimmed close to the platemark. – Tiny brown stains predominantly in the lower margin and verso. Remnants of former mounting on verso, otherwise in fine condition.
