Details
Bartsch 96; Meder 215 a (von e); Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 226 a (von e).
Description
A very fine, bright Meder a lifetime impression, trimmed to the borderlines. With the approx. 1 cm long break in Mary’s knee drapery as requested for the early impressions of the sheet, the fine double margin gap between the monogram and the tree cannot be determined due to the missing line. However, the extremely good print quality suggests an early impression. With beautiful relief effect on the reverse. – Barely visible mounting remnants on the verso, the upper right corner minimally rubbed on the verso, otherwise in very good condition.
