One of 36 woodcuts from Durer's illustrated devotional titled The Small Passion, the images completed 1509-1510 and published in 1511. Fully trimmed margins, archivally mounted behind glass in a gilt frame that measures 21 1/2" x 20 1/2". Offered with a Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery guaranteeing the edition and date of impression.
Condition Report: A nice, rich impression on a sheet that remains free of notable toning, foxing, or staining. There is a 5/8" horizontal tear to the right side, though it is torn without loss to the sheet and nicely framed to minimize visual impact.
