This pendant was made by Aldo Cipullo, renowned Italian designer Aldo Cipullo, and are the epitome of the 1970s style. Cipullo immigrated to America in 1959 to pursue his interests in jewelry and fashion design, and was hired by both Tiffany and David Webb shortly after. He gained international fame when he began working for Cartier in 1969, designing the infamous Love Bracelet less than a year into his employment, along with the Juste Un Clou (the iconic nail collection) shortly after. To date, Cipullo is the only designer to date who is allowed to have his signature on Cartier jewelry. This pendant has a hamsa motif crafted with carved red carnelian and 18k yellow gold. The pendant is signed "A. Cipullo" along with the gold purity "18kt". Measurements: 2" x 1.25". Condition: Overall excellent condition, very light signs of wear.
