Aldo Tura Vintage Pipe Bar Cart
Aldo Tura, Italy. Lacquered goatskin and brass bar cart in the form of a pipe, ca. 1950s-60s. Two tiers with an ice box with in the 'pipe' with a hinged lid. Retains the original label along the underside. Often referenced with Italian maverick designers such as Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura focused on creating his designs using specific materials rather than abundant figurative decorations.

Condition Report: The cart is in fair condition. All components are present and the cart rolls smoothly. The lid opens smoothly and without resistance. The leg with a caster on it has been repaired and adhesive is visible where the leg joins with the bottom of the table. Wear and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Some small chips to the lacquer. There is a ring-shaped water mark along the bottom tier. Wear to the wheels. Some wear and oxidation to the metal components of the cart.
