Alex Ross' stark, photo-realistic depiction of Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime, is probably the closest we'll get to seeing what the character would look like if he walked right off the paper and into real life! This is an anxiety-inducing full page of the Joker, who has once again been captured and sent back to Arkham Asylum. The doctors lament the mad criminal's history in the Paul Dini story "Case Study", which was created as an all-new story for the sequel to the Eisner Award-winning title, which showcases Batman in black-and-white adventures. Also noteworthy is Harley Quinn's endearing look at her "Mistah J", with a descending Batman as the background. Gouache over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 16.25".
