Alexander Friedman 1933 Oil Painting of Wooded Lake Scene

A well executed oil painted of a wooded lakeshore scene, painting is signed by Alexander Friedman (1873 - 1960) and dated 1933. Friedman studied in his native Austria Hungarian Empire and then, after arrival to the US, at the Chicago Arts Institute. He worked for most of his life at the Universal Studios Arts department where he was in charge of doing paintings and portraits needed for film decor. The quality landscape painting in original frame measures 18.75" tall X 21.5" across.
