This poster was created for the exhibition The Magic of a People, 6 April - 6 October 1965, at the Hemisfair World's Fair in San Antonio. The exhibition centered around Girard's vast personal collection of folk art and toys from South America.

Printed signature and date to lower edge 'Alexander Girard 1968'.

Provenance: Collection of Betty Gorecki, Lombard, IL Dimensions: Condition Report: Poster shows soft creases along lower edge, with minor compressions along right edge from having been rolled and stored over time. One minute tear near center of upper edge. Pigments have remained bright with age. Good condition. Unframed.
