Alexandre René Véron (French, 1826-1897) A wooded landscape signed and dated 'A Veron/1869' l.l., oil on canvas (133 x 196cm;framed 147.5 x 214cm) Condition Report: Unlined. A 10cm x 7cm T-shaped tear to the upper right corner. There is a further tear to the centre of the lower edge. Craquelure and surface dirt. Minor losses and flaking. Some small spots of overpainting can be seen on close inspection. The canvas tension is a little loose to the touch. Not examined under UV light, for a full report pleae contact the department.
