Very large Art Nouveau pitcher depicting a naked woman sitting with a net at the water's edge. This model is called "La pêche au filet" and is signed by Alexandre Vibert. With foundry stamp of Siot Decauville, Paris and numbered. Dating from January 3, 1898. This model is numbered L236 at the base This vase is one of Alexandre Vibert's most famous creations This model can be found in the following books: 1/ “Etains 1900” by Philippe Dahan, Editions de l’Amateur, page 385, under number 1182 2/ "Les salons de Paris 1895-1914" by Alistair Duncan. Published by the Club de Collectionneurs d’Antiquités 3/ Siot Decauville Paris period catalogue Size: Height: 43 cm Length: 29 cm Width: 32 cm Approximate weight: 11. 2 kg The pitcher needs a cleaning.
