2003 Alfa Romeo 156 GTA, official racing car, in very good condition. - Only 2 cars were manufactured. - Excellent condition. - Never used for racing. - Manufactured by N Technology (Official Alfa prepared at that time) . - Excellent opportunity to acquire an official vehicle of this iconic brand. - Vehicle personally inspected by a Catawiki expert. This is one of the 2 cars that Alfa Romeo manufactured for a Spanish V6 Cup which eventually did not take place, so they remained as two unique cars. Both cars we officially developed by the Alfa Romeo racing department with the help of the Spanish driver Luis Villamil. This driver had won the Spanish Touring Car championship in 1988, 1989 and 1995 with Alfa Romeo cars, and in 1999 he won the Italian Super Production Championship with an Alfa Romeo 156. In 2006, he achieved the absolute 1st position in the Alfa 147 Cup and, in 2007, the Alfa 147 team championship; and the 2nd position in the drivers classification after his colleague Antonio Chacón. The car up for auction, even though it was never used for racing, has an official Alfa Romeo racing chassis number. Its history is fully known. It was on display at the official Alfa Romeo booth at the Motor Show in Madrid and at the Circuito del Jarama (the owner still has pictures of the car on display) . Once the V6 Cup project was abandoned, both manufactured cars spent many years at Fiat Spain headquarters in Madrid. Afterwards, they were both acquired by a Fiat dealership in Barcelona, and eventually the current owner acquired this car from there. Therefore, it has only had three owners since new, and the current owner has had it for about 8 years. When he acquired it, the engine timing was done. He has barely used the car twice since the purchase. The odometer reading is real, the car is almost as good as new. The car has self-locking, gearbox oil radiator, engine oil radiator, ventilated brakes, approved N Technology bars for the 2000 engine. The car includes two sets of rims, one with rain tyres and other with tyres for dry weather. It comes also with a passenger seat, which was not present originally. The vehicle is located in Madrid, Spain.
