Alfa Romeo 1900 Super from 1956. Original vintage number plates and documents. MATCHING NUMBERS / COLOURS. NEVER RESTORED. Car with only 3 owners since it was new (including me) . The second owner, a businessman from central Italy, kept the car for about 40 years. He purchased the vehicle in 1971 and owned it until few years ago. This car remained completely original over time, because it was far from the hands of hungry dealers and/or collectors. So, the car has all its original parts, including its rare WEBER bronze carburettor (no one has it) . Car in very good overall condition, with interior to be fixed because equipped with the original Alfa Romeo fabric. Perfect headliner, only the seat on the driver and passenger side needs to be reupholstered. Personally, I did not perform these works, because I prefer to keep its original fabric. The set-up of the car is in very good condition, with a MAJOR service just carried out for about 3,500 euros, including the overhaul of the entire braking system and of its original power brake. New water pump, replacement of all the fluids, flattening of the head plus all new gaskets, including those of the manifolds. So, I can guarantee that the car is mechanically in very good condition and also very fun to drive. The engine is responsive and has very high performance, the shifting of the gearbox is soft and fast. Also thanks to the fact that this car has few kilometres because it has always been kept in the garage. The body is very nice, repainted about 20 years ago in its beautiful original colour (beige) . The work was carried out by a famous Alfa Romeo car body repairer in Florence, which closed down in the 2000s due to the death of its founder. However, the car is in wonderful condition considering the age and the fact that it has never been restored. As already mentioned, currently the only works to be done concern the interior of the vehicle: the reupholstering of the front and rear seats. The rest is excellent. Original chrome.
