Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint 1. 6 GTA, original right-hand drive (RHD) , series 105. 02/A, Stradale, Bertone design, chassis no. AR752691. The list of GTAs produced amounts to 483 cars with both left-hand and right-hand drive variants. With original right-hand drive, around 50 units were built. Produced in 1965, first Italian registration in 1967 with first registration plate “Siena (SI) ”; current registration plate “Firenze (FI) ” (replaced because the second owner changed province, as it used to happen years ago in Italy) . In its early years, the car was used in several races in central Italy and was later stopped by its second owner following an accident. Some photos of the races in which it participated are available. The current third owner has carried out a full restoration in recent years, rebuilding the damaged body. All details are as perfect, as when it left the factory in 1965. “Non-matching numbers” car, but with a corrected standard engine (AR00502/A) . Engine rebuilt to the specifications of the time. The restoration is fully documented with many more photos than those published in this advertisement and which will be delivered with the car. The car is registered in the ASI historic register (CRS) and has a certificate of origin issued by Alfa Romeo (see attached photo) . Although in excellent condition and carefully described, we encourage interested buyers to view the car in person before it is auctioned.
