However, I do want you to know how gratifying it is to receive such appreciative comments and I hope you were equally pleased with 'Notorious.'" In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Hitchcock's 1946 spy film noir Notorious—starring Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, and Claude Rains—had been released a month earlier, and marked a watershed moment in the director's artistic development.
