Condition Report: Unlined canvas. Canvas is visibly slack, primarily from the canvas coming loose from the nails along the top tacking edge. Right of center, four inches above the horizon, is a 6 inch area slight indentation to the canvas. Stretcher bar line visible along the top edge. Fine vertical craquelure in the center of the composition. Discolored varnish. 1/2 inch convex indentation with minor loss along center top edge. 3 additional smaller scattered scuffs and abrasions. Under UV exam, the darker water in the cove appears to be reinforced. Moderately scattered areas of inpaint on the hill and below the boat at right. Framed Dimensions 35.5 X 60.5 Inches
