Aliens Special Wide Screen Collector's Edition LaserDisc Box Set

A chronicle of the struggle between Ripley and the xenomorph queen, preserved in this NTSC LaserDisc box set of the 1991 Special Edition cut. The vessel for this tale is a black cardstock slipcase, adorned with a central image of the heroine, child in arm, amidst the blue-hued glow of the hive. The title ALIENS is struck across the top in a silver-blue typeface. This treasury contains the restored footage not witnessed in the original theatrical run, presented in the Standard Play (CAV) format for frame-by-frame scrutiny. The front face bears the LaserDisc mark at the lower left, consisting of a stylized L above the words LASER DISC. At the lower right, a blue mark for FOX VIDEO is visible. The rear of the slipcase displays two windows into the film and an extensive scroll of credits. The text TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX PRESENTS A BRANDYWINE PRODUCTION A JAMES CAMERON FILM is clearly legible. The chronicles further specify this is a Special Wide Screen Collector's Edition, featuring a digitally mastered transfer
