Arabic manuscript on thin cream-coloured paper, 27 leaves, 21 lines to the page written in neat naskhi script in black ink with significant words and sentences picked out in red ink, diagrams drawn in gold and labelled in red, inner margins ruled in blue and gold, all edges slightly extended when rebound, slightly soiled, brown leather, covers blind-tooled, traces of paint
257 x 153 mm.

This work does not appear to be recorded in Brockelmann or any of the major works on the subject. Two other copies of the text with the same place of production and date were offered in these rooms, Bonhams, Islamic and Indian Art, 18th October 2016, lots 40 and 43.
