The LC2 and LC3 armchairs were designed in 1928 by the great master of modern architecture Charles Édouard Jeanneret-Gris (better known as Le Corbusier) , as part of a series of sofas and armchairs called “Grand Comfort”, which he designed together with the help of her collaborators, the interior designer Charlotte Perriand and her cousin Pierre Jeanneret. The series was presented in 1929 at the Salon d'Automne in Paris.

The armchair shows small signs of wear consistent with its age, creating a nice patina. In general, the condition of the chair and its leather is quite good.
