In excellent condition.Allan Capron Houser or Haozous (1914-1994) was a Chiricahua Apache sculptor, painter and book illustrator born in Oklahoma. He was one of the most renowned Native American painters and Modernist sculptors of the 20th century. Houser dedicated artworks to the United Nations, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Smithsonian Institute. In 1922, he became the first Native American awarded the National Medal of Arts.
