Alois Kalvoda's early work represents a unique example of his experimental position, when he experimented with artistic form and plasticity of color and tried to capture the expression and the flowing dress of a young girl. Later, he painted simple motifs of the Bohemian region, meadows, hillsides, birches, views of the region between the trunks of trees standing in the foreground or on the hillsides in the background with a significantly smoother handwriting, but he did not avoid plastic textures or strong colors.
