Frame is missing glazing, so surface of print is visible; all edges of paper are visible; paper is linen backed; moderate distortion throughout; uneven surface in scattered areas, likely caused by debris trapped between canvas and linen; toning to sheet throughout; uneven attenuation of colors; repaired tears in upper left margin, center right margin, lower right margin, and in lower center of image; creasing throughout; two small paper losses along upper edge of lower sheet; small loss in center at left of figure's forearm; Repaired loss in center left margin, approximately 3 x 3/4 inches; three small brown stains along upper edge.
