Outstanding tapestry belonging to the series "The Four Seasons" [1900] . In this case the allegorical woman representation "Summer". "The Four Seasons" collection it is very difficult to find in this big size tapestry format. Certificate of authenticity and origin: "Craye" - Groupe Flemish Tapestries. 16G - ETE Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) , artiste tchèque, occupa une place imminente dans l'art décoratif de l'affiche publicitaire nommé Art Nouveau. Il sut exprimer admirablement l'atmosphère de la fin du 19 ème siècle a Paris capitale mondiale des arts et des plaisirs. The Craye family business was founded around the year 1880. In the 1970's they were best known for the quality of their Velour and Jacquard clothes: they began manufacturing cloth for the house of Dior. Craye came to specialise in the reproduction of wall tapestries and recreated the style of weaving of the Flemish of the 14th & 15th centuries for which they are the world leaders. Material: 55% cotton and 45% polyester. Size: 108 x 46 cm. Condition: excellent condition. Never framed. Fast shipping with tracking trace code by transport company.
