Altar gate (1) - Iron (wrought) - 19th century
Very ancient gate of the Eucharistic altar, which was originally placed inside an ancient Italian abbey, to protect the altar and a sacred image. It was hand made in wrought iron. It consists of a central part in two pieces to be joined, two slightly curved sides and two doors with locks. This gate is in original patina and has been closed for several decades. It is hypothesized that it could have double doors: two on the right and two on the left, perhaps with mounted ones placed in the wall. The front is decorated with the sacred heart of Jesus as well as hand-crafted brass-plated copper stars. Any changes can be made. The total length is 220 cm. The height is 100 cm, the width is 85 cm, for a weight of over 200 kg. Worldwide shipping with protective packaging and tracking included in the shipping costs.
